This can't be right

Gretchen Rubin
I'm not sure about Gretchen Rubin's catergorisation - or should I say I'm not sure whether I'm an Upholder or a Rebel.

My mother would have said I'm a Rebel and I think I probably was for the first twenty years of my life; so, why - or should I say, how - did I turn into an Upholder? The cynic in me would say that I grew up and realised that Upholders are a whole heap more popular than Rebels (!)  Or the answer may simply be that many of us tend, when under a lot of pressure, to rebel...

I think that maybe I'm both (slightly more of an Upholder), but that the older I get the more inclined I am to rebel - and not to bother overmuch about what other people think.

Or maybe I think I'm more rebellious than I really am, just because I'm an Aquarian and have to be different.

My hankering after a definitive answer is certainly me responding like an Aquarian; because we don't sit well with a world view that's not black and white.  So that just leaves me to fret about whether I'm an extrovert or an introvert. Hmmmmm, how about ambivert? Honestly, the things I tie myself up in knots about!  In the meantime here's where you can check out YOUR tendency.

  1. This is an interesting test to do. I already did it on Gretchen Rubin's site and I'm a Questioner! I'm not surprised! I thought I might have rebel tendencies too - but perhaps I don't after all! I did the test again on your link above and the result was still Questioner!

Have a wonderful prolonged weekend! The sun is back here as strong gusts of wind have blown the clouds away!

  2. I first did this test last year, without the benefit of a computer generated result, when I felt I was an obliger/rebel. I think this is nearer the mark; and I guess I should know (!)

I'm not surprised to learn that you're a questioner. Hey, aren't questioners rebellious by nature?!
